Bisiach & Carrú was established in 1955 and has 45 years experience in welding. It started operating in robotics 20 years ago and soon earned a world - wide leading position. The success is confirmed by several plants that have brought experts of leading European and American rolling stock manufacturers to Bisiach & Carrú. Besides consolidating its leadership in "INNOVATION TECHNOLOGY" by taking part in three different European Community projects (e.g. IEP), Bisiach & Carrú is a milestone in the evolution and development of state of the art technology, with its advanced design work and persevering approach to mechanics that have brought about what have been called engineering masterpieces today.

Bisiach & Carrú has developed robotised cells and lines with a wide range of manufacturing technologies, starting with a robot designed for resistance welding operations. Automatic tool change has enabled the inclusion of other processes such as MIG/MAG welding, stud-welding, seam-welding, handling and others in one operating cycle.

Bisiach & Carrú is technically prepared to fill some gaps in the car, truck, bus and other manufacturing fields, thanks to the experience and success accumulated in over 10 years of operation in the world rail industry with the 10-axis TAURO GANTRY SYSTEM, that moves on rails for over 150 meters and has proven invaluable in the manufacture of aluminium railway car bodies.
